Where The Seeds were gathered...
With early development at an amazing arts and garden center called Stonehedge Gardens, the Seed House concept was born. Kevin Smith and then Lauren Hamby, stepped into the Stonehedge project back around 2008 and joined partner Tom Moroz in an effort to assist Russel Keich, the visionary leader of the grounds, to rejuvenate, re-open the gift shop, and start a regular schedule of community events to breathe life into the gardens once again. Tom was a long time supporter of Stonehedge and was excited about the overall participation and events happening at the gardens. It was an amazing experience and the seeds of this idea were collected.
In the Summer of 2011 we left Stonehedge Gardens and moved into the Market St. Retreat. Now with a new home base, a new structure and fresh start we dive into the community and enjoy the activities within. The Seed House has starting helping and supporting local community arts programs and business's. With a successful May Flora Fest series we are excited and honored to continue to provide arts, music events and community gatherings.
The development of the Seed House creative concept came out of the days working in the gardens and the community of people that magically came together to work and play.
We are currently searching for a permanent home for The Seed House and looking for a building that can become a playground of the Arts.
